I've been taking watercolor classes with Betsy for the past 10 years. Her classes are fun and relaxed, excellent for both beginner and more advanced students, with a focus on painting landscapes, florals and still life. Betsy is encouraging and patient while guiding her students to develop their own style. Her gallery offers local guest artists a chance to have solo exhibits, and she mentors a sub-group of her students, Cross River Fine Artists, who display their work in her gallery and in other venues in the Hudson Valley.

About Betsy
Betsy is a patient and kind teacher to all levels of students. She is an exemplar teacher in the Mid-Hudson valley and possibly in the country. Her studio is perfect for the beginner, intermediate or advanced watercolorist. I have been attending classes for almost five years and it is my true happy place on this earth. I find it to be my yoga, my therapy and my place to be free, to experiment, to create. I have brought 20 8th grade students from my school and Betsy was amazing working with young painters. The kids just loved the day!
